With an open floor plan, high ceilings and incredible natural lighting, Vela Vista boasts stunning views of the east end of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Modern and tasteful, you'll find all amenities are new in this lovely 3000 sq ft mountaintop abode. There are five beautifully furnished bedrooms all with high quality linens, in-room air conditioning and luxurious mattresses to ensure a restful night's sleep. The house can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in five bedrooms (three king beds and two queen beds) with a bonus full-sized fold-down futon in one of the king bedrooms to accommodate one extra guest.

 The main living areas are open concept and the two large wraparound decks offer plenty of space to lounge and large sliding doors welcome in the fresh tropical breezes of Bordeaux Mountain. The kitchen is well-equipped for wining and dining - and the views from the dining table cannot be beat!

For travelers mixing work with pleasure, we have high-speed internet and an office work space with a printer for your use. Vela Vista’s electricity is primarily powered by a 14.4kW solar array with three Tesla power walls (backup-tied to the grid), so you’ll be blissfully unaware of an island power outage... all while doing your part for the environment!

Vela Vista on Bordeaux Mountain is the perfect jumping off point to explore the whole island. The home is located 20 minutes from Cruz Bay, 12 minutes from Coral Bay and 10 minutes to the North Shore beaches, in a quiet residential part of the island that sits at 1100-foot elevation. You’ll need a rental car to access the property and while a 4WD vehicle is not necessary, it is recommended if you’d like to go on adventures to some of the more remote white sand beaches or scenic hikes!
